Tennis & Pickleball (Grades 1-8)
1 week sessions 9:00am–12:00pm; 9:00am–3:00pm Price: $275-$550
Join Sidwell Summer Tennis camp where campers will discover the joy of the game, improve technique, and have a blast in a fun, inclusive, and recreational setting. Our sessions are led by avid tennis players and well-rounded athletes who are passionate about teaching. On Fridays, we take a break from the traditional training routine to engage in camp-wide celebrations that include tie-dying, flag football, yard games, water balloon toss, and loads of more camp fun.
Designed for players of all levels in Grades 1 – 8, campers are divided into groups by age and ability. Experience more than just a clinic – it's a tennis adventure!
Equipment: Campers are encouraged to bring their own racket and must wear sneakers to participate in camp.
Pickleball
During the week of July 29-August 2, we will transform our South tennis courts into “Pickleball” - a fun, fast-paced paddle sport that combines tennis, table tennis and badminton. In this morning only program, campers will learn the rules and vocabulary of the game, the basics and will practice their skills through fun games and mini-tournaments.
Equipment: Pickleball equipment will be provided, campers must wear sneakers to participate in camp.
