At DEAN Adventure Camps, we’re dedicated to helping children discover their passions, explore endless possibilities, achieve meaningful goals, and navigate thrilling adventures. Our programs are organized into 10 different studios that balance skill-building, character development, and unforgettable fun, with friendship and personal growth at the heart of every experience. Guided by our experienced and caring counselors, we nurture great qualities like resilience, focus, integrity, perseverance, and gratitude, empowering your child to make smart choices, try new things, and thrive—all while having the time of their lives.
For Summer 2025, style meets self-discovery in our Accessorize & Style Studio, where young designers can choose from three camp programs—Fashion Design & Styling, Glamorize Your Doll and Jewelry Making. Here they'll develop creativity and build confidence through hands-on fashion experiences. From crafting unique jewelry to exploring fashion sketching and draping techniques, campers strengthen focus while working on detailed work and discover authenticity expressing their unique style.
Working with fellow designers, campers build collaboration skills as they create pieces for themselves, their dolls, or their friends. With a variety of weekly programs to explore, fashion enthusiasts can return again and again, building resilience through new challenges and discovering fresh ways to express their creative vision. Where personal style meets endless possibilities — let's create something fabulous!

From refining illustrative skills to creating mood boards, delving into draping and fast-paced styling challenges, this program gives our budding fashionista a creative edge. Campers develop their curiosity by exploring diverse design techniques and fashion history. Young fashionistas build perseverance through the iterative design process, self-regulation as they focus on detailed work, and openness as they embrace new styles and perspectives.
By the end of the week, designers won't just be following trends, they'll be setting them—customizing their own T-shirts, totes, and wearable accessories. Join us and see campers take fashion from drab to fab! No previous experience is necessary to join this designers collective!

Glamorize Your Doll (Grades K-4)
Doll-sized style & fashion fun! Glamorize Your Doll inspires campers to create impressive on-trend clothes and accessories for their very own 18-inch doll. Every camper's 18-inch doll* is invited to attend camp to be a part of the unforgettable and collaborative experience. Campers will learn the fundamentals of hand sewing, embroidery work, and needle felting and even receive an introduction to the sewing machine to make costumes, outfits, and accessories for their dolls. Along the way, they'll cultivate responsibility in handling tools safely, openness to new creative processes, and a true sense of gratitude for the joy of making.
Glamorize Your Doll is the perfect experience for any aspiring designer or child who wants to build friendships, likes imaginative play, wants to make memories, and add a bit of pizzazz to their doll’s wardrobe.
*18-inch dolls are generally American Girl Dolls, Our Generation, Journey Girls. Campers must bring their doll from home as one will not be provided in camp. We highly suggest leaving all doll accessories at home as they can easily be lost at camp.
Jewelry Making Junior (Grades K-2)
Make that bling sing! In Jewelry Design, campers discover the art of personal adornment — whether to add a little sparkle or hold memories close in a sentimental keepsake. Jewelry has always been an important form of wearable art, and campers will delight in this fun and accessible form of creative self-expression. Campers will improve focus while crafting pieces with care and attention to detail, openness to exploring different mediums, and a sparkling sense of authenticity as they express their unique style.
From whimsical necklaces made from polymer clay to sophisticated and elegant wire-beaded rings, campers will create their one-of-a-kind pieces with the help of their week-long skills in jewelry design and construction. Bling never looked so good!
