Themes + Skills Overview
Minion Mayhem (Grades K-1)
What could possibly go wrong with Minions and Robots? Maybe in the movies this would lead to mayhem, but in this program, we are positive we will not be doomed.
Ozobots (almost as cute as Minions) will be transformed into our yellow fellows for missions to uncover the silly secrets of robotics and essential STEM concepts using Ozobot's unique color-coding language. Campers will also embrace their inner ‘Minion Mad Scientist’ by creating kooky inventions with Makey Makey Boards, and building their very own lab using 3D construction techniques.
Skills Learned in Minion Mayhem
Knowledge gained in robotics and coding concepts. Techniques such as 3D paper and cardboard construction building, sequencing and coding concepts, color coding and embellishing techniques, and drawing. Fine motor skills include proper scissor usage, cutting, bending and folding paper and cardboard, sketching, color coding. Design processes include sketching and rendering 3D and 2D concepts, coding screen-free with color codes, experimenting, problem-solving and troubleshooting to fix coding issues.
Once Upon A Bot (Grades K-1)
Lights! Camera! Robots! Campers, ahem.. Directors set out to weave tales where robots become the protagonists, antagonists, and heroes of their own stories. That’s right, robots will take center stage!
Combining the elements of storytelling, this program teaches campers how to create their own plotlines and produce skits and plays that will be acted out by their robots. How, you ask, is this possible? Campers will don their director visors and learn Ozobot's unique color-coding language to command their robots to an award-winning performance.

PokéBots (Grades K-1)
PokéBots Go! In this Pokemon and Ozobot fused program, become a PokéBots trainer and experience the fun world of Pokemon and Ozobots. Your budding Trainer will be introduced to sequence, selection, iteration, cause/effect, critical thinking, and debugging. Just as Pokémon respond to their trainers' commands, Ozobots come to life and respond to camper commands by using the Ozobot’s unique, screen-free color-coding language.
After beginner coding concepts, campers construct their own arenas using 3-D paper-building techniques and participate in a plethora of STEAM-based Pokemon and Ozbot activities.

Cyborg Creations (Grades 2-3)
Human meets machine in the world of Cyborg Creation!
This isn't just another robot camp. We're entwining human anatomy and cutting-edge machinery concepts in this exciting new program!
Imagine crafting a mechanical arm that mirrors human gestures or building a wearable exoskeleton! Well, imagine no more! Participants will undertake projects that blend anatomy with electronics, resulting in interactive cyborg components, such as constructing robotic appendages and augmentations.
Each of these personalized projects serves as a testament to the camp's adherence to the Next Generation Science Standards principles and our commitment to fostering inventive, boundary-pushing thought. Every camper will create tangible, responsive augmentations they can proudly take home.
Cyborg Creations melds imagination and the marvels of the human body with the frontiers of technology!

Mechanical Creatures (Grades 2-3)
The animal kingdom meets engineering in the fascinating world of Mechanical Creatures.
Your little zoologist sets out to answer the question "Could a robot dare mimic the wonders of nature?" Beginning with Makey Makey Boards, campers broaden their understanding of circuits and motors, setting the groundwork for their ultimate endeavor: constructing a robotic animal!
Using specialized kits, each participant is empowered to craft robots that resemble animals and emulate their movements, merging the wonders of biology with the precision of engineering.
Aligning with the Engineering Design standards of Next Generation Science Standards, this camp promises a fusion of fun, learning, and innovation.
Step into the Mechanical Creatures program, where the boundaries between technology and the animal kingdom blur, turning youthful dreams into animated, coded realities!

Robot Rumble (Grades 2-3)
Robot Rumble is the ultimate robotic takedown challenge, tailored for those who possess a passion for robotics and competition (friendly, of course!).
This program is not just about understanding mechanics—it's about constructing the ultimate robot ready to face any challenge in the arena. Campers design, assemble, and fine-tune their own bot to create the ultimate machine. Once assembled, bots face-off in arenas that are also built by our innovative campers.

Our Robotics, Coding & Creativity Studio offers a balanced approach to STEAM learning. By blending art with technical skills, campers will enhance both critical thinking and creativity. Each week focuses on a specific theme, teaching campers artistry, and coding with Ozobot in our Jr. and Sr. programs or robot construction in our Builder programs. Join us for a comprehensive learning experience.
RoboKart Racing (Grades 4-5)
Duck, weave, and pivot around obstacles with RoboKart Racers! This stimulating program blends the thrill of racing with the precision of robotics, making it a unique playground for our visionaries. The Ozobots, versatile little robots, are ready to race – but it's up to our engineers to create their track!
The excitement begins in the design phase. Campers will tap into their imagination to design intricate obstacle courses. From daring jumps to tight turns, each course reflects the creator's ingenuity. Campers will integrate obstacles the Ozobots must navigate, making the race even more intriguing, and delve into Blockly Coding to program their Ozobots, determining how they'll tackle each challenge. The coding possibilities are endless!Under the guidance of the Next Generation Science Standards, RoboKart Racers offers campers an immersive experience in robotics, coding, and design. It's about getting to the finish line first and understanding the mechanics, programming, and creativity behind every turn.
The grand finale will be Race Day, where campers showcase their tracks and programmed Ozobots. Cheered on by peers, every Ozobot racer will speed through some epic tracks. On your mark, get set, code!
